Show and Shine Car Show – Moorhead

As part of the Greater Moorhead Days, the city of Moorhead, MN is sponsoring the Show and Shine Car Show. The event will be held in Memorial Park on the corner of First Avenue and 8th Street North. Dash plaques for the first 25 entries. Open to all classic cars and motorcycles. Registration begins at 10:30am. Register by calling 218.299.5296 or visit cityofmoorhead.com/parks.
Fargo Street Fair Car Show

During the downtown Fargo Street Fair, there will be a car show in Island Park. All makes and models are welcome. Registration is from 8am – 10am. The entry fee is $10 and includes breakfast, lunch, and a photo of your car. Music will be provided by The Front Fenders.

We will be getting together at the Tastee Freez on Main Avenue in Moorhead.
We will get together and talk about what we have done and what still needs to be done for the show and also talk about some events we have coming up. Please be there as we will have posters for everyone to help hand out and we need your help to spread the word!
This is OUR show and it we have to work together to make it successful.

West Fargo Cruise Nights will be held each month on Sheyenne Street from Main Avenue to 7th Avenue. Free registration – register for door prizes at Toppers tent in front on the VFW. There is parking along Sheyenne Street starting after 4:30 pm. These Cruise Nights take are from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Volkswagens in the Valley BBQ

UPDATE: Site change. Our normal location in Lindenwood Park has been under water on and off due to flooding and lots of rain. We will be having this year’s BBQ at Rheault Farm in Fargo at 2902 25th Street South, Fargo ND. See below for map.
This is our meet and greet BBQ the night before our Saturday Volkswagens in the Valley car show and swap meet. The show is typically for show participants or spectators who travel in from out of town, but we welcome all interested parties to stop by and see what the Red River VW Club is all about. This is a great time to enjoy some food and drinks and get to know club members or visit with friends. Sometime post-food grazing we take a quick cruise in town.

Jeff Quam, owner and operator of long time import shop in the Fargo-Moorhead area, has invited the Red River VW Club out for a open house night. Come to visit and get to know you local vintage and new VW mechanic shop. JAQ’s is a RRVWC member and works on many club vehicles.

Hankinson Car and Bike Show

To help celebrate their Quasquicentennial (125 years), Hankinson, ND is having a weekend long celebration. One of the events is a car and bike show. Cruise down for just the show or stick around for all the weekends activities. Get the full schedule of events. Hankinson is less than an hour drive from Fargo, ND.

The Twin Cities VW Club is celebrating their 25th Annual Bug-In. This is a great event in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area every summer. A good trip to turn into a long weekend to visit the Twin cities metro area.
